Are you ready for Meera Jee’s Return in Baaji?

Film Baaji by Saqib Malik

Saqib Malik, a renowned Ad and Music Video Director has taken over the world of cinema with his first movie ever called “Baaji” (A title not unknown to many of us and given out of respect to an elder sister usually). No doubt, it is the most hyped up movie by far and why shouldn’t be; it has the ever sensational, the drama-mama, the wittiest and smartest actress ever to exist in Pakistani Cinema; The one and only Meera.

Visibly, Meera is seen being the representative of who she truly is in real life as well; A Superstar, looking glamorous and posing like a queen while Aamna Ilyas stands next to her. Needless to say, she looks gorgeous as well in her black dress.

Baaji is a drama/thriller, outlining some real challenges women face in the film industry through its short shelf life and stardom! We hope it lives up to the expectations and hype created. Although the director Saqib Malik had to face a lot of backlashes because Meera is often surrounded by controversies but he took the risk because the role perfectly fits Meera, and for me, the characterization means more than box office numbers.

The entire compost gets better when you see performing Osman Khalid Butt, Mohsin Abbas Haider, Ali Kazmi and Nayyer Ejaz in prominent roles alongside Amna Ilyas and Meera jee.

Brilliant Music Compositions & Choreography

The song Khilti Kali had already won million hearts, all the laktas & jhatkas by Osman Khalid Butt and Amna Ilyas rocked the floor and Meera’s entry to the floor fuels the fire!

Before the audience could lose sight of the upcoming movie, Baaji has caught a grip on the viewers with its second release of the song – Badlaan, done by Zeb Bangash and Saad Sultan. The combo worked well at vocals, not too heavy not too shallow but of the perfect soulful fluid melody to put everyone in awe. Evoking the sense of serenity, situational attachment to the film, the song depicts a lot about the storyline based on the real industry dynamics and how stardom works for women, making us all crave more for the film!
